Northampton Carnival Launch Night 2008 @ NWICA, Thursday, 17th January.

This years carnival launch night took place at the Northampton West Indian Carribean association in Sheep Street. The events included Streets Ahead performing alongside the NCAC steel pan explorers and others in a musical and dance evening to promote this years Northampton Carnival.

Morcea Walker took her turn to promote this years carnival theme and background while Myrle Roach introduced this years carnival queen show. The background music was provided by Inspiration FM with Mark Dean.

The lineup also featured Julie Moreton who made a short presentation on her and her colleagues work with costumes and children for past carnival and events that had been organised. The show concluded with Dreams 2 Reality dance group, Ashley & Ellie Barker singing and NCAC steel pan's.
