Hiya,

Well carnival is just around the corner, this weekend in fact and I can't wait but although admittedly, I haven't been updating this page as much I have been updating the site quite regularly. I would like to thank the hard efforts of Northants 96, Radio Northampton & the Chronicle & Echo and the Herald & Post for the recent media coverage I have seen or heard about.

You will find updates in the archive section with new photo's for 1956 and 1980's included, although there is yet more to add to the online collection. I have updated the sponsors page, links page, and main frontpage with added information about the carnival route, timetable of events and added contact information.

The features page includes our photo's and experiences of the carnival queen show itself so if you want to know who the people are that were chosen check out the features page ok.

I look forward to seeing you all there this weekend and I will try to update the site as soon as possible with photo's of the event.

I have redesigned the menu's on the top of the pages as I said I was going to do, although I haven't done the gallery page as I am totally going to re-do that with all the photo's I now have in my possession from the carnival last year. I have added the Montserrat flag to the homepage after requests not only from Myrle but also a chap called Mervin from the message board.

Hello,

We now have three more links for carnivals around the UK in the Weblinks page thanks to Nuneaton, Hornsea & Cromer carnivals for their support for our site, I have also had a play with the menu on the links page, felt the colour scheme was too weak so will be evaluating that over the next few days, I have got a hold of a old carnival photo from 1914 ! so I may be putting that up on the site in the archive sometime.
